I bought this 3/4" rope after buying 5/8" nylon rope from the flea market and not being able to unravel it enough to splice it. This rope opens up nicely and is much easier to splice. Also the ends burn nice and evenly so it's easy to control fraying. I purchased 1 1/4" heat shrink with glue on the inside at the same time, in order to hide the tail ends after splicing. I wasn't concerned with looks as much as function. A great brand of rope and I will buy more in the future.

Not the best quality nylon rope, but half the price of most and for our mostly-decorative rope fence, it's perfect. The rope uncoiled easily and lay straight on the driveway with no kinks to straighten out. This is the second 50' coil I've bought, so I must like it!

No problems with it twisting. Rolls out easy. If cutting just take a lighter and melt the ends so they won’t untie. Just remember after burning end let cool before you touch or it could burn and stick to your fingers like melted plastic. Will buy again if I need more. Plenty strong for the right applications. It might get tighter or looser if gets wet and dry when using outside but I haven’t had long enough to see how long it will hold up being outside. I’m using mine between fence post to keep dog from getting wrapped up when on outside leash.

I needed to set up my dock lines in a new slip. The 100' roll was the best value for me. I can do my own marlinspike stuff while I sit on the porch.This line has a nice hand feel. It is what I'd expect for new nylon 3-strand. since the fibers are extruded, this type of line tends to shrink and harden up over the years. (quick tip: if you splice in a thimble for an anchor shackle, dip the completed splice into boiling water to cinch it up.) This line has good spring to it. The stretch is why you choose the right diameter 3 strand nylon for docking. It absorbs the shock loads. Why people buy bungee cords for this confounds me.This cordage was a good value for me. It was easy to work. It's been holding fast.
