These lights were fantastic! I love how they are solar powered and I didn't have to run electrical.Out of the box, I was happy with the quality. I am usually cautious about ordering stuff like this because it never seems to last but I can tell these will last a long time.They mounted well and figuring out how they functioned was very easy. There is a switch in the back to select the mode you want. I ordered (4) to begin with and all functioned perfectly out of the box. They even came with a charge.I have a large driveway and when they detect motion and light up, it is plenty bright. I use them on dim constant mode, then bright with any detection of movement. It was cloudy and rainy yesterday, so I was wondering if they'd get enough of a charge to maintain through the night. I got up around 4:30 or 5 and they were still on and working.Regarding customer service, I received an email providing an extra 6 mo. warranty on top of the 12 mo. manufacturer's warranty, for a total of 18 months. I expect to get much longer out of them but it is always good to know that they stand behind their product. Routinely, I also send a "hey thanks" email back just to see if anyone actually responds. Within about an hour, I had a reply back basically saying, "no problem, hope you're happy with them." That is always a nice feature (to be able to get ahold of an actual person who will help you if you do have an issue).My overall impression is that the lights exceeded my expectations and I plan to order some more to place around my property. I can foresee placing a few in my barn (no electrical in there) and mounting some to trees at the rear of our property.I also wanted to mention that on dim mode, it is the perfect amount of light. I'm a light sleeper and even with the second story curtains opened slightly, the amount of light would not be very noticeable but from my window, I can clearly see the gravel driveway and any objects for about 10 to 15 feet. It's similar to a dim flashlight. When it clicks on, it's really bright and I can see maybe 25-50 yards.I have also read some reviews complaining about the sensitivity of the sensor. I did not have any issues. I tested it and it didn't detect me until I was maybe 35-50 feet away. Maybe this is because of how I have it mounted but cars going by on the road (we live in the country & have a gravel road) do not cause it to go into bright mode.If I could give this extra stars, I would. It's a solid product for the price and I plan to buy more.Update [11/18/2020] - All lights still work as they did when purchased. I do not believe I have touched any of them since the day I hung them up. I have purchased even more at this point. Still feel good about this purchase.

Very bright. Good quality and easy to set up. I've ordered the smaller lights before and was very happy with them. And then these bigger lights were on sale so I couldn't pass up a good deal.Happy with my purchase.

The only reason for the 4 star is that it is not easy to change the mode once installed.! Works really well

Just purchased the solar lights on a recommendation from my neighbor. The area surrounding our homes is dark. One of our neighbors purchased the solar lights to add light is dark ares around his house. The lights are bright, even on cloudy/rainy days the lights come on just as bright as they do when charging on a sunny day. The home owners in our area also purchased these Solar lights. They have become an asset to our neighborhood, we can now walk out ours homes with confidence that the lights have been a deterrent from people who’d roam our neighborhood at night. The light are easy to use, they give a wide range of light, they are easy to install, it comes with an operation guide, there are 3 different options to choose from. The lights can be set as normal light when entering the dark, there is a dim light sensor mode when motion is detected the lights give off will be bright for 15 seconds before returning dim, or a strong light sensor mode at night, then 15 seconds later, the light goes out automatically. The instructions are easy to follow, they come with a drilling location map to assure proper mounting. The lights are water proof, heat resistance, and frost resistant considering we live in Texas where temperature are high, these are the perfect solar lights for our type of weather. They lights are black, a medium size, they are durable, and they come at the right speed.

I purchased a couple sets of these lights 4 1/2 years ago, and came back today to add another set to my cart. I realized that I had not left a review previously. Better late than never lol.These Aootek solar lights are great and have held up well for us for over 4 years and are still going strong. No problems at all, and they are still very responsive to motion. They have been through Oklahoma winds, pouring rains, snow, and ice storms. We have never had one problem with them, so I am ordering a backup set (just in case).I had a backup set years ago but gave them to a family member. At one time, our electricity went out for 24 hours. I got the unused backup set out and they were charged up enough that we could use them inside the house while we had no power. Each one lit up two large rooms brightly, so they are also good for that! I took them outside to fully charge during the day and brought them back inside for night use while the power was still out, and also easy to carry from room to room when needed!n Would highly recommend!

Unit works as described but I wasn't aware that the 15 seconds 'light-on' time cannot be changed. It would be handy if there were a few more options (like 30 sec and 1min).

Funcionan perfectamente, detectan el movimiento a metros de distancia y la luz que emiten en el modo de maxima iluminacion es muy buena, con 2 lamparas ilumina perfectamente un espacio de 7*5mLas tengo configuradas con el modo de luz siempre encendida y dimmer, y cuando amanece siguen encendidas.Acerca de la vida util de las baterias u otros componentes no puedo opinar ya que las instale aprox hace 3 semanas

Fantastic bright floodlight, surprisingly small (the box for all 4 was so small I thought they'd only sent 1), but it really packs a punch. Wonderfully bright, excellent motion detection from several meters (at least) for our small dogs. Highly recommended.
