I have had it in for about two weeks and it works fine. There was six inches of water around the old one which probably caused the failure. We took out the wheel well plug so water would not pool. Chevrolet dealer wanted $1300 to fix it. My mechanic fixed it for a total of $750!

Cadillac placement causes early failure. Poor water drainage submerged pump snd module in water. Easy repair and had to add drain hole for water in area where pump is mounted.

I purchased this new motor and placed it in the foam casing and plastic case and reinstalled it so it sits higher than the water level from the drain tubes from the retractable window.
