Very robust materials, and fits well without jiggling around or bouncing as a neoprene vest would do.Also, having weights instead of iron sand, there is no risk of leaks or other inconveniences.It is worth the small extra price difference.

Pretty comfy and very functional. Sure beats trying to achieve the same thing with a backpack... definitely not trying that again. Fortunately I don't believe I hurt myself permanently, but ruts should be done with appropriate equipment. This has made weighted strength training and running so much more attainable and it's super quick to change the weight setting. I think the strap leaves something to be desired. Not sure why it is velcro other than stitched, but it does work and is necessary if you're running.

Even when walking with 40 pounds, my shoulders are pain free. It is well made. It fits my larger than normal stomach. Straps are large and effective. Easy to get on and off.I expect it will last a long time. Nothing is flimsy.Excellent purchase.

This vest is good but also has it's shortfalls.The good: Affordable, easy to adjust weights by adding or removing them from the pocketsThe shortfalls: Small opening for placing vest over your head to put on. I have a shaved head, 7 1/4" size hat and it's a bit snug for me to place over my head.Shoulder padding is not quite up to par and could definitely use more padding, especially at the top of the shoulder by the clavicle/trapezius region. I add a pad under the shoulder straps when I ruck.It's hot and sweats where it contacts your chest and back leaving your t-shirt or sweatshirt soaked in that region. Some vented material would be helpful.All said and done, it's not bad for the money and the adjustability you have is very good when it comes to weight added or removed. If the manufacturer reads this, I'd love to see the things I mentioned upgraded and of course, the cost will go up but it would be worth it.

I had been using a camelback hydration pack with dumbbells. I bought the 20# vest and already wish that I had bought the 30# vest. The shoulder pads are very comfortable. The head hole is snug, I wear a beanie or hoodie so it doesn’t rub my face coming on/off. I did have to adjust the waist belt to make it smaller. The waist clasp works well but the strap slides loose very easily. Like if you bend forward it just comes completely loose. I’ll try a safety pin. I do wish the vest itself had some extra weight pockets and that I could purchase weights to add. I’m very glad I bought this.

I'm 5' 10" and 240 lbs. ( 178cm, 108kg) and this vest fits me fine. Easy to adjust to size and weights are easy to take in and out. I find that if I wear this vest for doing housework and yardwork it works much better for me than just hiking because of all the bending over and going up and down steps makes my core work harder. When you pick up the vest fully packed, it weighs 41.8 lbs. (19kg). It feels quite heavy picking it up fully loaded. I have recently lost 40 lbs and it's hard to believe that I was carrying that extra weight all the time. No wonder I got tired so quickly. I could stand to drop another 40 lbs. which this may help me accomplish. Other thing to think about is if you wear this around the house and get tired, you can take it off and put it down. Hard to do that when you're 2 miles from home and you want to drop the vest. Shoulders are well padded, no problem there. Space for head is a little tight.

Really like the lead weights. Easy to slide them in or out of the pockets. Better than sand bags. Comfortable straps that don't dig into my shoulders. Seems well made. I've had it for 4 months. Use it 3 to 4 times a week. No tears. No issues. I carry 25lbs for now when jogging. I've loaded it up for pushups and pull ups. It's a good vest!

Fit better than previous equipment that slid off shoulders. Handy strap for attaching pocket for phone to listen to YouTube.
