I purchased these because they were supposed to fit railings from 2" to 6". My railing is 2" and these were way to big, so I figure they fit railings 4" to 8" at least. I used shims and smaller pieces of wood to attach to the planters. Eventually I hit the right combination. Once in place, they are sturdy and holding well, despite all the wind that I get.They look nice and I have received many compliments.I do like the size, they hold a large amount of plants

They work, but I don't love them. The holes on the sides where it grips the railing aren't attractive, but serve the purpose.

Ordered 4, received 2. Had to go thru the Amazon rigamarole to get 2 more. Once here, super thin plastic. one of four broke filling with dirt. Buy something else

Not sure why this got a bad review. I ordered two for my deck and was very pleased with the look and the quality. They fit my 6 inch deck rail perfectly, and once I had some rocks and soil in them, they were very solid. Plenty of room for plants, and the fact that they drain from the "legs" rather than the bottom is a bonus - no rotting deck rail to contend with. I would recommend them to anyone and in fact, am about to purchase 2 more. Very happy with this product,

cheap and horrible. won't fit on most railings. Flimsy and has nothing underneath to fasten the pot onto the railing. Forced to use it as a normal pot on the floor instead!!!would never buy this again...
