I bought this because my old fan was engaged all the time and was really noisy above 2K RPMs. Took about 1.5 hrs to install this "re-manufactured" one and it is no better than before. Spins freely at rest like it should, but as soon as engine is started it engages and stays engaged 95%+ of the time, even when cool engine & outside temps are cool.
