My original manifold had 4 hairline cracks. This leaked a bit of exhaust and threw off the oxygen sensor readings causing error codes. The new manifold fit perfectly and resolved the error codes.

Fits as described but don’t put it on right away, certainly needs a little prep work.Get what you pay for, definitely better than what was on the car, but definitely needs ground down before you put it on. All the bolt holes lined up, however you may have to modify the heat Shield to get all the bolts in. Make sure you clean it before you put it on too. It will smoke and it does stink for a short time, didn’t really think about it as I had installed it twice already.

This went on very easily. The cast doesn’t look pretty but appears to be more substantial than the OEM part. One thing I had to do was grind down the corners of the manifold where the nuts for the studs go. The flange nuts would not screw on after installing the manifold because the hole for the stud and edge of the exhaust tube were too close. Grinding a flat with an angle grinder solved that. I didn’t bother flattening the flange face (although it did look shoddy, poorly lapped) since the provided gasket was thick and pliable instead of thin piece of steel. Hopefully that makes a good enough seal.

I bought for my 13 dodge avenger. Amazon said it was correct but it was wrong. I believe this manifold fits the 6 speed transmission only (avenger).

Removing the Old Manifold was a Process . No Broken Bolts, Which always a Stress Factor .Take Your Time Make Sure the Engine has Cooled Down 4 Hrs before Working on it .Kit Came With Metal Heat Shields Both gaskets for Manifold and Exhaust connection.Extra Bolts for the Metal Heat shields and the 4 Bolts and Nuts for the Exhaust connection. You ll have to reused the Manifold Bolts , Order Few Extra Just in case , But mine were Reusable. The New Manifold was a Perfect fit .Much Easier Going Back On .5 out of 5Nice have no smell of Exhaust at start up and the low noise from the old Manifold .Don't Forget to Clear The Error Code.Take a Few Pictures of the old Manifold with Your Cell Phone just to Make sure it Looks the Same .You will have to remove the old Metal Top Heat Shield to determineIf it Is the correct Manifold,as I been told , there are 2 different versions Manifold, to the 2.4 L Engines.
