I used this to manipulate steering on a remote control JD 3048 tractor. Once i adapted it and wired in a couple 10 turn potentiometers it worked like a champ. Biggest issue was the sprocket reduction and fitting a small drive sprocket to the shaft but it wasn't an insurmountable issue

Mounting hole spacing much smaller on new motor.Edit: I took the old motor to a Jeep dealer. The Parts Dept. said that motor is probably for a 2003 - 2006 Jeep. (There was no identification numbers visible on the old motor.) My Jeep is a 2002 Wrangler. Jeep probably ran out of 2002 motors and installed a 2003 unit. The motor was never replaced so Jeep/Chrysler had to have installed the incorrect motor. Crazy. :)

The motor worked perfectly as intended. The heads on the mounting bolts supplied with the motor were a bit too large and contacted the arm mechanism while rotating. I had to bend the arm slightly to improve clearance. Also, the output shaft on the unit was ground too small and the factory arm fit sloppy on the shaft (it fit perfectly on the original motor). So far no issue however It did not fit as well as it should and you need to make sure the nut is tightened adequately to avoid movement.
