I received the product and the placement and fit was perfect. The problem was at the gas station when I tried ti fill up my tank to gas nossle wouldn't fit all the way into the filler neck whole. I was able to pump the gas but the nossle didnt inset all the all the way into the filler neck.

The part I received has a design/manufacturer defect. The hole under the gas cap is built 180 degrees from the filler tube to the tank making it impossible to fill the tank from a gas station pump.
