My 4Runner has a good bit of age on it and it’s hard to justify the cost of an OEM steering rack. I’ve put about a thousand miles on this one and haven’t had any issues. Installation went as expected. All fittings and threads fit perfectly. I did forget to make sure the rack was centered (equal turns left and right); it was not shipped centered. I’m pleased with the money saved.

Bought for 04 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4 and a 5speed manual.Went in easily enough and fit well. The hardest part was getting the old rack off. So far no leaks and the steering feels smooth. Quality seems high enough for a non-OEM part like this. Only time can tell from here on out!

Alreadu I drive 4K miles and the Sterring Rack and Pinon still working fine and dont leak. Perferct price.

It was a real ordeal to get this thing actually in my hands. I don't know why, but it took a lot longer than expected. When it arrived, there was some damage as the rack is loose in the manufacturer's box. See photo showing the big hole and the rack sticking out. Luckily, the damage wasn't too severe. It bolted in fine and my initial drive was positive. Hopefully, it will last a few years before it leaks, but time will tell.
