I bought this for an odd reason, I needed the tank and restrictor plug as I acidentally tossed the plug from my old hose for my e36, and on that car that hose is really expensive.

Came rusted. Boxes did not have the usual A-Premium branding. I have no time to return. Ended up having to put the metal part of the hose in white vinegar and later in WD-40 and hope the system wouldn’t get contaminated. Just finished fixing the car today and will update the review after a couple months depending on how it runs.

Original reservoir units have a filter in the bottom, but it is hard to tell whether or not this replacement contains a filter. You can easily blow air through both openings as if there is no filtering at all. Perhaps this is normal, I don't know. I installed it anyway. Only one of the hoses is correct for my car, but it was the one I needed, so it was still a good deal and stopped the leaking.

The reservoir itself has metal inside that looks like it will flake off soon and cause it to fail and need replacement soon, the one power steering hose is correct the other is not. Its a female end to cooler that is required not a male fitting. I had already renoved the old one so i reused one hose and used it anyway as i had to. Will most likely need to replace again soon sadly. Not worth the hassle of returning and being down a vehicle. If the inner portion of the reservoir wasnt falling apart and flaking and the proper hoses were included it wouldn't be a bad purchase. Sadly its not. So avoid this one and buy a better part with a better rating and that will work.
