It's totally made of metal on the outside. Fit perfectly in place of the original motor plugged right in. the only issue I saw was the original one was riveted the door this came with no bolts. So once you've drilled out the rivets, you need to have bolts to mount this new motor in place. Once in place, it works fantastic.

This is a great product if you're handy. With my Blazer I felt I should replace the whole regulator. I returned this part. Quick shipping and looked like a quality part. It did include large rivets, but you could buy screws and nuts. Just a bit more work than I felt I wanted to do.

Installation is hard if you're replacing the factory motor but other than that easy. Works better than any other option. If you have a factory motor, try putting WD 40 white lithium all over the motor and the rest of your car's joints for good measure.

That’s not saying much as the original motor is from 31 years ago but it’s like I have a new car now! Super fast up and down. Thanks! Works great with my 1993 Cadillac Allante.

I use it to open/close a discharge plate on a Fastrak mower.. it works but its significantly weaker than the older GM OEM version that I used on my previous mower.

If your motor needs replacement, then this is the right product for your S10. Simply drill out rivets that hold the motor in place, replace motor and use some longer bolts and nylon nuts to hold new motor in place. No need to take out the longer slides which window sits on. Takes very little time to do and works great. Windows are nice and fast, smooth and quiet.
