With this order I messed up and ordered for the wrong year BMW, So make sure you look at your vehicle code.. Example E46 which is 2005 BMW 325xi. Then use this to search.A-Premium reached out right away to me when I asked for the exchange and the return process was super smooth. Like one reviewer said, the fingers the motor attaches to are somewhat flexible, so if they don't line up to the motor, don't drill them, just push them into place. A little bit of that flexibility is required just to install the motor, which requires a twisting motion to remove from the old frame when the screws are out, and then requires twisting the new motor onto the new frame, with the fingers flexing a little during this motion. My motor lined up without any problems, but I noticed after it was installed that the motor on the frame would twist just a little when the window hit its limit at the top or bottom, showing the slight flexibility in the frame to help absorb shock, and likely prevent gear breakage, than if the motor were mounted more rigidly. So given the obvious flexibility, if a finger is a little off, just push it into place. The one I received fit perfectly in the door and got my window going smoothly up and down again just like nothing ever happened.

Replaced broken E46 BMW rear door window regulator with this product. I liked the simple packaging and price. I compared the BMW oem part side by side and everything matched. Fit was perfect and installation went by the book.

Seems good for the price. Looks almost identical to the one that came which cost about $60 more and has a lifetime warranty, I've already used it (the warranty on the other) once, this is the second time it has failed within a year. Might use the warranty again to have an extra laying around but I bought this one due to the quicker shipping. One of the biggest issues I've read about this one in the reviews is the screw tabs not lining up. That was the case with mine, as well as every other one I've ever bought regardless of price. No need to drill the holes bigger or leave screws uninstalled. The tabs are relatively flexible, you just mount up the motor, see how far off the holes are then bend it with a pair of pliers. As far as the regulator itself, they all have the same failure points regardless of price. Either the clips that hold the slider onto the cable will snap, or the cable will jump off of one of the plastic pulleys. You can use the zip tie fix to help alleviate the clips breaking, no fix for the pulley issue though. That's where most of the ones I've replaced have failed. I've read lots of posts on how to keeps these things from breaking. Some say to clean and oil the window tracks, other say not to oil the window tracks. I've tried not using the window for months just to have it break the first time being used afterwards. I read one where the guys suggested not using it could be an issue because the glass ends up sticking to the rubber track after a prolonged time causing it to break on the next use. This time I'm going to try keeping the tracks clean but not oiled and "exercising" the window every few days to keep it from sticking.

Fit like OEM. Fairly easy to install for any DIY'er. Hopefully it will last a few years.

This was a pretty easy DIY for a BMW 323i, and maintained a nice, smooth glide of the window.Motor was still in good condition, so this was a very cheap fix. Recommend this part!
