My 2001 civic was overheating when idling at a stop. When I started driving it cooled off. The fans were coming on randomly for only a few seconds but the fuses were good. This sensor replaced my other one and now it’s all good

I’m pretty sure this is the same part across the Honda/ acura lineup. Screws into the bottom of your radiator. All of my fuses and relays tested ok and this was my last hope to get my fans working on my 2003 Honda Element. After install, I let car get to operating temperature and immediately the fans both kicked in. Yayyyy, very happy! Small price to pay to get the cooling system working again.
