Device not manufactured for 2010 ford escape as described. Constantly sprays wiper fluid when wipers are on.

As other reviews state you can only use on low intermittent speed not high/constant, I knew this going into it and never use high anyway so doesn’t bother me. When high speed setting is selected it will be constantly spraying washer fluid on the rear window while it wipes on high. If you prefer to use high speed buy an OEM FoMoCo one at twice the price, otherwise this is fine.

The motor / gear has alot of play, makes it hard to line up the wiper correct on the glass when there's an inch rotational play. Then the new nut that comes with the unit is bigger. The boot/cover will not fit over the nut. You will need to find a bigger boot.

Installed pretty easy. I just cut the nut with my dremmel so I wouldn't risk breaking the window. For some reason the 2nd speed on the wiper now activates the washer fluid. I guess it's the risk I took getting a motor for 100.00 less then oem.

For the price, you really can't complain. Got this motor and bought a new wiper arm and wiper for 120 bucks total. Way cheaper than if I went OEM. One thing to note though what a lot of other reviewers have said, going into the second wiper option causes the wiper jet to spray. Putting it in option one has it cycle every 10 seconds which is more than enough for a rainy drive. 2010 Ford Escape Limited.

Worked during warm months, once it got cold it started to malfunction. Hitting a small bump would activate the wiper and then it just stopped working. Once it wasn't working it would drain the battery over night. I had no choice but to disconnect it to stop draining my battery. This purchase was not worth it
