Was hoping to save a few bucks. The manifold itself seems well made. I have a 2001 2 valve 5.4 Triton V-8. Everyone knows the battle I had removing the old manifold and studs. I wasn’t expecting a battle installing the new manifold. Even though it’s VERY close to the original the rear flange that attaches to the Catalytic converter is about a 1/4 inch longer than the original. That 1/4 inch makes it virtually impossible to get the 8 studs to line up, much less not destroying the gasket at the same time. I went to an auto parts store and bought a Dorman manifold for $20 more. Slid right in like the original. Tried to save a few bucks. You win some, you lose some.
