Installed on 2005 Dodge Ram Dakota. Works perfectly. My customers 4wd was locked in and would not come out. Took out the front drive shaft and the yoke and was able to get right to the motor. Removed the three screws holding this on and made sure the half noon was in same position as the one on the transfer case. The case half-moon can be repositioned on the case to match up with the motor. Wallllaaaaa, perfect, notwtighten down the motor bolts and reinstall the yoke and driveshaft.

Took a chance on a cheaper motor and lost. Shop found motor to have open circuit. Will not function. Missed return window by one day. :(

This is the second shift actuator motor I purchased and just like the first it was garbage in 3 months. The motor was causing my 4 low light in my dash to come on whenever I was going up a hill on the highway. I would definitely recommend buying your motor from a quality parts store so you don’t wind up with the same issues. This one was used in my 2012 2500 Ram diesel

Form, fit and function. Old one (also made in China) lasted 18 years, hope this does also.

Seems to work. Last one from another company lasted only a year . Pretty sure they are all the same unit.

08 ram 2500 and fit no problem and works.. I will update this as the winter goes for don't have it in 4x4 all the time.. Only when you need it.. So it best not mess up when I need it! Shipping was fast

Installed on a 2006 Ram 3500 4x4. Make sure that the mating tooth and the are in the right location when assembling. Warning do not place actuator on the transfer case and the try to line up the mounting bolt holes as this could change the proper gear mesh in the transfer case. Transfer case must be in 2 wheel drive mode prior to installation. Recommend dielectric lube to be place on the connection plug prior to installing to eliminate future corrosion.
