Broke with in a week. Repaired and placed back on pond filter. Not even a day later and was starting to leak. Seems like I have the same problem as everyone else and am kicking myself for not reading the reviews. I had also followed Amazon's recommendation for what hose works for the pump and filter. Last time I do that. RECOMMENDATION DO NOT BUY

This tubing is thin and seems more like cheap plastic. Even with hose clamps it leaks around fittings. Our previous hose lasted over 15 years before degrading, I don’t think this will last more than a couple of years.

Would spring a leak and drain pond. Cut off the bad section and day later another leak. Drained pond 3 times, total of 5 leaks popped up in 2 weaks before I replaced it. Returned has defective. Even low pressure pump bursts this hose. Garbage.

It is flexible but weak. Cannot handle 5300gph filter as it busted the tubing several times. Maybe if you have filter less than 3000 gph then maybe ok? Not sure how long will last. Not recommend if you have powerful pump. Doesn’t seem like it will last long since I have to trim the tubing several times where it busted and then replaced with a 2000gph pump , and seems like the material is weak even though it has a metal wire spiraling though out the tubing.

This hose split twice! Thankfully I was home when it split, the pump was pumping the water off of my pond. Half the water went out!

This hose is made of very thin rubber that is easily damaged when using barbed nylon fittings and didn’t seal properly on 3 out of 4 connections. When attempting to remove the hose to try to reseal, I discovered that the spiral ribs were made from a very brittle material that breaks when stressed. I do not recommend using this for anything that requires a complete seal.

This hose is great except the way it was coiled up within the package. It resulted in 2 crimps, limiting the run length I could get out from it.

This tubing is no better than generic stuff you can buy at any hardware store. The wire in it makes it difficult to work with and often springs leaks.
