  • INNOVATIVE BUBBLING TECHNOLOGY, HIGHER DISSOVLED OXYGEN LEVEL – Different from the traditional sand air stones, this cylinder aquarium air stone is innovatively made of rubber material. Processed with advanced technology, the surface of the rubber cylinder is with thousands of tiny pores to distribute air into water. Thus the oxygen can be dissolved efficiently into water.
  • FINER AND RICHER BUBBLES – Comparing with the traditional sand air stones, this air bubbler diffuses finer and richer bubbles, which will be more appreciated by your applications. REMINDER – if the bubbles are less than expected, use an air pump with higher flow rate and pressure.
  • STAYS STEADILY AT THE BOTTOM – This air diffuser is self-weighted. The square design at both ends allows this fish tank air stone to stay steadily at the bottom of your reservoir. While traditional cylinder air stone or round air stone will be moved around easily by either water flow or fish.
  • ANTI-CLOGGING – Comparing with the traditional air stones, this perforated rubber air stone is anti-clogging. It not only saves your time of maintenance, but also lasts longer.
  • FITS 2 SIZES AIRLINE TUBING – The size of the air stone is 8” in length x 1.25” in diameter. The stepped air nozzle fits both 3/16” and 3/8” (Inner Diameter) airline tubing. This oxygen diffuser is ideal for multiple applications: aquarium, pond, and fish farming, etc.

Product Description

THE NEW INNOVATION - RUBBER AIR DIFFUSER WITH FINER RICH BUBBLES AND ANTI-CLOGGING

air stones for aquariums bubbler fish tank bubbler for aquarium fish tank aquarium air stones

Different from the traditional sand air stones, this cylinder aquarium air stone is innovatively made of rubber material. Processed with advanced technology, the surface of the rubber cylinder is with thousands of tiny pores to distribute air into water. Thus the oxygen can be dissolved efficiently into water.

Why dissolved oxygen is important?

  • For fish, they extract oxygen from the water through their gills, which they use to breathe. Without enough dissolved oxygen in the water, fish can suffocate and die. Additionally, dissolved oxygen levels can affect the growth and reproduction rates of fish. High levels of dissolved oxygen promote healthy growth and reproduction, while low levels can cause stress and decreased growth rates.
  • For hydroponics, plants rely on oxygen for the process of respiration, which is critical for their growth and survival. Oxygen is also important for the growth of beneficial bacteria in hydroponic systems, which help break down nutrients for the plants. Without sufficient dissolved oxygen in the hydroponic solution, plants can experience stunted growth, root rot, and even death.

STEPPED NOZZLE, FITS BOTH 3/16" AND 3/8" AIRLINE TUBING

I was so pleasantly surprised how good of quality these were. I bought them for my two outdoor ponds. I can see the stream of bubbles though the windows and the turtles and fish love them. I would highly recommend.

Item arrived as pictured. Currently is producing a fair amount of air bubbles. My concerns is its vibration effect on the fish.

My toddler likes to take bubble baths but gets unhappy when the bubbles all go away and asks if I can agitate the water to make them come back. After a minute of vigorous agitation, I decide this is insane and looked for a better solution. I hooked an air pump up to these to see if these could make enough bubbles so I didn't have to sit there and make them. They work good enough. The bubble solution we use isn't the greatest which is probably the bigger problem. These put out a good amount of what I would call medium-large sized bubbles. Definitely meant for large tanks. Both of these in a bathtub seem to be a good size. When we are done with the bath, I take them out and rinse them off and let them dry out before the next bath. We usually do 2-5 baths a week depending on the level of grime of the toddler. We have only been using them for a couple weeks. Will update if I notice any degradation or damage, but so far they have worked great. I like that I don't need to suction cup them to the tub. They naturally sink even when filled with air.

I was hesitant to purchase these because there is a plethora of cheaper alternatives out on the market.I AM SO GLAD I GOT THESE.I needed to move a ton of air because I brew compost tea in 60 gallon containers. These did the trick as in there is so much air that I couldnt contain all the foam they create. You can get away with only one of these per container but sometimes i double up if i need to get a ton of air quickly.PSA: you will need a moderately powerful air pump to run these or don't bother buying. I suggest one of the AquaMiracle commercial air pumps rated at or above 1000gph. They are pretty cheap.

Floats with 3/8 line. The air line also slips off if you move the air line, should have barbed nipple maybe longer even ...Bubbles good if I hold it under water. but I needed them to sink like the description says. Disappointed

It actually does make better bubbles than the ones that come with the machine.
