I grow in 5gal buckets, bubble ponics, indoors. I live in the tropics so temp is a big thing. I wasn't sure if these would work on my plastic buckets but they work perfectly. I have to us a flashlight to see it clearly but that's because the canopy has made light very low towards the bottom of my tent. It matches almost exactly what the thermometers read. Great deal for the money.

They work great and I was able to replace all of the ones on my tanks that were old and coming off.

Just ok. Hard to see the colors and identify the temperature. It seems to be off by 2 degrees. Tried two with the same result.

They did not work at all. No color change or indication of temperature on my tanks. They are super cheap for a reason!

These are close enough for my fish keeping needs. They have are accurate within a few degrees. Just a safeguard in my application to ensure my heater hasn't failed or stuck on. If you need a highly accurate thermometer you should but a calibratable type that has an error of tenths of a degree. If you are keeping a community tank that has a heater these are a fine choice to ensure the heater is working properly not cooking your animals.
