Ordered this set because I needed to run a number of splitters for a new aquarium build. Not only does it come with a great selection, they are also made in a crystal clear plastic. Not that cheap looking fogged plastic look. I like the clear glass look. Always makes stuff look more clean and sanitary. They worked perfect for standard size airline hose, and if you couple them with the crystal clear hose, it looks amazingly clean. I know the plastic fogged colored versions are more bendable/flexible, but I prefer this rigid hard plastic design for my builds, though that is just a personal preference. I haven’t had any issues with cracking or breaks, and once inserted fully into the hose, they aren’t going to just pop apart. That snug fit is exactly what you want. I know some people will think, “dude, it’s just hose connectors.â€, but with everything on the market, there are good and bad products. Items like this is no different. And this set is definitely one of the good sets. So yes, I would suggest these to other people needing a nice selection of fittings and splitters. Plus, the price is only around 5 dollars. That’s perfect for people not trying to break the bank on all the “smalls†you wind up needing when putting together a project. I think we all know how that ends up being what kicks us in the wallet when it’s all said and done. I dig this set, and will obviously be buying more when the next build comes around, cause it’s always good to have a nice selection of parts put back in your supply bins.

Purchased these to incorporate into an art project, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of these connectors in terms of what they are designed for. I can say that they do seem durable enough for proper aquarium-line use.

For the price you can't beat it! I've been keeping aquariums for 30 years! This is a must have for running airlines for aquariums/ hydroponics or whatever else you would need.Trust me you can't go wrong with this package of connectors so far all the ones I have used have been perfect!

Theses couplers worked great and as intended, but just know it's a little bit of a tight fit so you will need to put in a little elbow grease to get the tubing to connect to it, but it does what it says and its air tight!
