Bought two different brands...this one read perfect, and the others were completely inaccurate. Would be nice if stem were slightly larger for easier read.

The hydrometer is good, but I ordered two Shrimp CRS Miniature glass figurine, Clear... . I did not order this.

I tested this against a Tropic Marin glass hydrometer and a refractometer calibrated with 35ppt refractometer solution; this unit measured SG at 1.022. It's therefore usable as long as you make the necessary adjustments to each reading...but what's the point? There are better solutions available.

Marine aquarists need to adjust their water between SG 1020-1025 the scale for this is only 3 mm so no use. It will only tell that you are in the rough area.
