The Aquasana Claryum® Countertop water filter (AQ-4000) is the most economical way to get clean, healthy water for your family. There's no need for an extra hole in your sink or permanent fixtures to enjoy great-tasting, filtered water. Simply attach the hose to your existing tap for on-demand filtered water. The system is space saving, only taking up a small amount of space on your counter. Water under pressure means filtered water, faster. Some water filter systems strip out the healthy minerals that naturally occur in water like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. The Aquasana water filtration system is uniquely designed to remove pollutants and reduce odor, while improving taste by preserving healthy minerals for optimum hydration.

The AQ-4035 is an updated replacement for the AQ-4025 The AQ-4035 cartridge set is a universal replacement for all Aquasana drinking water filters. The A and B replacement filters are guaranteed to be compatible with AQ-4000, AQ-4500, AQ-4501, AQ-4000W, AQ-4000P, AQ-4000B, AQ-4000N, AQ-4600 and AQ-4601. The AQ-4035 is our latest generation of replacement filters. We've spent the past 18 months redesigning and reformulating our filters to achieve our best filtration yet resulting in the new Aquasana AQ-4035 technology. The Aquasana AQ-4035 design and functionality are so unique, we've applied for a new patent. The drinking water filter set is the heart of all of our Aquasana drinking water systems. $60 for a filter that will last 6 months, can't beat it! The water clearly tastes better through the Aquasana filter as opposed to straight tap water. never noticed it before, but I can actually smell the chlorine in our tap water when I don't use the filter. My wife, for some reason doesn't use the filtered water, sometimes when she pours me a glass of water I can tell immediately that it's the tap water. The taste and smell are noticeably different. She says I'm crazy, but after drinking the filtered water it has ruined me for tap water. I've been using these filters now for 2 years, have never had any problems with them or with water pressure as I've read on other reviews. When you replace your filters, take a look at the used ones and compare the coloring to the new filters, you'll see how brown the used filters are, if not, maybe it's our local water. :)

We purchased this filter system 6 or 7 months ago to replace a GE system. We where very happy with the filtration function as it removed both chlorine residue and water off tastes, we were not happy however with the unit's manufacture as it leaked like a sieve necessitating a bucket under the sink . I sent an e mail to the Aquasana company and they immediately sent a new holder and a new set of filters. An easy install and NO LEAKS. I don't know if their quality control has improved- if we got a defective unit originally or whatever, but I am very satisfied with the performance of the replacement unit and the company's quick efforts to correct the problem.

I rent and needed an option that wasn't too much work. The faucet adapter was a struggle for me because the spigot my landlord installed is not common - but eventually I got it figured out. The hoses are somewhat rigid so depending on counter space it could be difficult to weave them into a place of your liking, but that also worked out. Once installed, I have been very happy with the unit. The taste and ease of use is great. Start faucet, pull small plug to activate filtered water and when done, just turn off spigot - the plug will close itself when the water pressure decreases. In regards to the filter replacement - it's true that it isn't easy, but it is possible. I had my unit 7 months before changing the filter and it's just important to know to push down the gray ring to disconnect the hoses and to employ a pliers to unscrew if needed. I wrapped the wingnut with a dishcloth and hammered a bit with the nose of a pliers and that loosened it enough to unscrew by hand. One other note - I noticed multi-streams from the spigot so I unscrewed the small output nozzle to find three very small metal strainers. One had rust gunk in it so I just threw it away and once back together the water comes out in a single stream again. Overall great product.

I bought the complete counter system a few years ago and purchased the filters twice a year. These filters work great! Follow instructions provided and you will not have any issues with your drinking water tasting good.

We have owned a countertop, aqua water filter for many years. It’s better than drinking city water. I definitely recommend the system to anyone looking to save on a water bill and have better tasting water rather than purchasing it out of the store.

Short of buying an expensive whole-house water filtration system, the Aquasana AQ-4035 is far and away the best drinking water filtration system available. It is easy to install, has never leaked in a year's service and the water, though it comes out slower than I might like, is clean, clear and good tasting. The replacement filters are a bit pricey but then they last six months so it isn't unreasonable. I recommend this product.

Estoy muy satisfecho. Yo no puedo juzgar de la calidad analÃtica del agua, pero los filtros tienen reconocida esta calidad. Lo que puedo juzgar es el sabor y el olor, y puedo decir que quita todos los problemas que tiene el agua de la traida en el lugar donde resido.En Amazon, ha estado a buen precio, pero en este momento está carÃsimo. He comprado estos filtros a través de varios distribuidores, pues por desgracia el fabricante no vende en España.

use this unit for 2 years and by replacinc the carteiges once a year I have pure waer. Our city water have lot of calcium and chlorine in it. With tis ;no smell no more tar buit-up in humidifier and kettle .I realy like it and recommand it . Easy to install and maintain.

The water quality is super compared to any Brita filter types. The price is good considering: 1) the quality of the water and 2) the filter changing is required once per year (450 gallons of water = 1620 liters = 4.43 liters per day consumed): great ;o) . The entire system is slightly leaking from the bottom, I can live with that.
