I moved my pond to a new house after 16 years. I have never fought so hard with the weather to keep my pond clear. As a matter of fact, I lost the battle and my pond turned into pea soup. It has full sun, it has downpoured a lot this year, and temp in the 90's for most of the season. I used bacteria, algae killer, and did daily foam filter cleanings. Nothing worked. I bought this foam filter less UV filter and was sincerely skeptical. I did a quarter water change just to give the filter a chance. The water was still pea soup after the change but I hooked up the new filter and hoped for the best. I have not used any algae remover since hooking up the new UV filter. After a week it was grayish murky. A few days later I could see all of my fish strait to the bottom. Now i just have to work on the sediment layer on the very bottom with some organic digester. I will NEVER go back to foam filters and will ALWAYS be using UV from now on. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to clean, has an indicator light that says when it's dirty, and you don't even open the filter to clean it. I have only had to use the backwash 1 time in 20 days. Love this filter and would Recommended it to everyone.

I've had it set up about a 1.5 to 2 months. Running in my 3500-4000 gallon pool pond. Took it a few weeks but the filtration and uv caught up with the green alge and now it's crystal clear water. Easy to clean with its backflow flushing, I just use to water the yard a bit till it's clear.Update. Bought 5/16/22 worked well till a week or 2 ago. I noticed eater clarity dropping. Thought with the summer heat I just had to step it back to 24 uv from trying to back it down to 12 hrs. Upon further inspection the UVisnt working any more not sureif it's bulbous transformer. Will investigate further in the morning, but I shouldn't be losing a bulb in 3 months or less

I purchased the UltraKlean 2000 around June 2014. The device worked great!However, in May/June of 2015, the Clean indicator would not go off. I searched and found this to be a common problem. This was an inconvenient but workable as I can remember to clean it every 2 weeks. I emailed Aquascape but never received a response.Now (June 2015) their is some sort of short in the device. It keeps flipping the breakers when I plug it in. I have tried to plug it in different outlets to ensure that its not a problem with the breakers. But every time I plug it in, regardless of the outlet it flips that breaker. The filter works without power. However, the reason I bought this filter was the integrated UV light. The UV light does not work without power.With the non-response from the company and my experience that their products last only 1 year I have to give this device one star. I will not recommend Aquascape products.

My fourth Koi pond filter in 10 years. Haven’t had much luck but my pond is overfilled so I decided to spend more money and glad I did. Hoping this will last and do the work it’s supposed to. Easy to operate

I am beyond impressed with this filter! I have had my pond 15 years and had many filters that cost more and worked less. My pond is in full sun and usually gets pretty green over the summer. This year I also had more muck in it than I wanted. I purchased this filter on the recommendation of my local pond shop. Set up was SUPER easy, the hardest part was getting the hoses on, I used a hair dryer to warm the hose and it worked great. In just 5 days my pond went from cloudy and green to absolutely crystal clear. Before the new filter I could only see my fish at feeding time, now I can see them even at night. I have a huge black Koi and I can see every inch of him even in detail. This week the little cleaning reminder light came on so I figured I would give the back flow option a try and WOW was it easy. It took me less than five minutes from start to finish and the water started flowing crystal clear again. This made maintenance so easy I am thinking about getting the smaller unit for an above ground pond! Buy it you will NOT regret it!

Seems well constructed. Difficult to remove and replace lid. It’s plastic, so care in handling. Has no scrub material to screen waste. The means of bio balls for cleaning water, but after several days it doesn’t seem to work. May take longer to develop healthy bacteria. Will provide a follow up review update.

Had my Koi pond in for years. Always struggled with algae and green cloudiness. Purchased this product a little over a month ago and it is amazing. My pond water cleared dramatically and continues to clear. I can now see all my Koi and enjoy their antics. I purchased the 2000 gallon filter oversizing a bit. My pond is roughly 1400 gallons. This product is worth the cost. Cleaning is a breeze. I hooked up backflow tubing and ran an electrical outlet with a connected on/off switch adjacent to the filter. Now when it's time to clean the filter I turn off the power switch, turn the filter knob to clean, open the backflow valve, turn the power back on for 5 minutes and the system backwashes itself. Would truly recommend this product.

Have used sponge pressure filters for a few years now and always hated pulling out the unit and cleaning those ugly sponges! You don't have to do that with the Ultraklean 3500. So easy to setup and use. Kept our pond clear all summer running the UV for 6 hours a day.Just had an issue with the control unit after 3 months and with the help of their online chat feature, email help and the quick response from my warranty claim, they are sending me a new control unit. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend this unit. I will be ordering an Ultraklean 2000 in the spring to replace my other sponge filter.

Después de 5 dÃas de haberlo instalado vi los resultados que esperaba. Antes tenÃa agua verde y era difÃcil dar mantenimientos a mi antiguo filtro de agua. Con este sistema el agua es cristalina, elimina las algas del agua, sin embargo se siguen generando algas en paredes, piso y piedras. Para ello existe el IonGen de Aquascape.Yo lo ocupo 24/7 con la bomba de la misma marca. Hasta ahora vale mucho la pena la inversión. Mis Kois y tortugas están sanas y los veo perfectamente nadar ya que el agua está limpia todo el tiempo. El mantenimiento es de lo más fácil ya que no tienes que estar abriendo ni lavando esponjas o arenas. Únicamente das vuelta a una perilla y el agua sale a presión en forma de retrolavado.

Awesome product. Spent a fortune on pond shocks and other products. It would just go green again. It’s crystal clear. Smells nicer and the fish seem happier. Best purchase EVER

This year chemicals and changing the water met with only short term success to keep the 800 gallon pond clear. After 10 days this filter has my water crystal clear. My only issue is that the back flush does not completely clean out the filter as well as i would expect.. i have a 1250 GPH pump pushing through the filter. maybe after more use i will find out that this a non issue. The unit was bigger than expected but i am very happy with its operation.
