Not REAL fancy. VERY adequate. Nice feel.Good value, too for 5 tools AND a case.AND my reverse curve scissors fit in the empty space in the 6 slot case. (Double plus good)

Yes there are cheaper kits but this one came in on the same day and is just as good as my current fluval clippers. The quality is on par if not slightly better! I bought this whole pack because I felt why spend 50$ on the name brand fluval kit when it does the same as this one! I was stoked to see it comes with 2 sets of scissors and 2 sets of tongs, aswell as a double sided substrate adjuster! In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck! In the second picture is a comparison of the fluval clips compared to these ones. I seem to find the fluval ones are slightly smaller around the fingers and slightly slimmer. These new ones feel better around my fingers especially when reaching into tighter spots of my tank!

Overall, the kit is decent and you get many pieces with a carrying case. I primarily use the tweezers to remove leftover food from the tank and rotate the marimo ball so my hands don't need to get wet.I initially tried to use the substrate spatula to clean algae off the side of the glass tank and it performed decently but then noticed that it began to have a slight bend. I know I didn't use it as it was intended but I expected it to be sturdier.Time will tell whether they rust but I'm careful to dry off the tools after use so that it doesn't happen.

All I know is that these were very heavy, and look well made and have a nice case.I bought these and another brand and these were the first ones chosen.

I am a YouTuber for Aquascaping/Terrariums builds.I purchased this set primarily for the case and for the fact that it had all the normal tools that other sets have. Now after using the tools, I would not recommend them.1. These are not precise cutting scissors; they pinch the plants...not cut; which means that you might end of killing the plant you are trying to propagate.2. The finger opening on the tools are for small hands.3. The craftmanship is just not there; they have no fluid movements and are disappointing.

Worst ever experience... I bought it 2 months back .. as those instruments are use less only for scaping and trimming of plants in aquarium after single use today I opened to reuse for .. i noticed it's broken and it's electric welding is very poor.
