Doesnt work. Ran under hot water and it got to 50 deg. In tank it reads zero.

These things are amazing. I have them in both my tanks. There easy to read, easy to clean, and are very accurate. I will never use another type of thermometer again! Most thermometers are exterior strips, which are usually a few degrees off, or internal suction cup kind which constantly pop off and float around your tank. But these thermometers from aquatop STAY in place! Seriously, I cannot reccomend these enough!

I was surprised at the poor quality of this thermometer. This is not typical of Aquatop products. I'd ordered two of these. The first one was off by 8 degrees vs. the heater setting and a second thermometer (the last two matched perfectly). The second one that I ordered was bleeding the "mercury" within the tube and wouldn't register any temperature. After providing photographic proof of the defects, the vendor accepted a full return.

Bought for a 10 gallon aquarium. Seems to work well as it matches our other thermometer
