I much prefer this type of filter. Much easier to clean, than the large filters that sit on the floor, and have tubes that come loose and pump water all over! It takes very little time to change these filters out, and they work a long time before needing to be replaced!

These fit and work well, but in my opinion are pretty expensive. I usually rinse them off under a powerful sink several times before I replace them with a new one. Seems to work for me.
