While reading some previous reviews I was second guessing about using these filter but they were the only ones I could find to fit the filter gifted to me. I am on my first filter and it is working amazing. It is cleaning alot faster than expected. I have to unplug the pump so the tank can have a bit of algae for my bottom feeder.

Not sure why but this filter is better than the poly fill type filters I have used. I think if you try it you will like it. I bought them for all my tanks.

No having to remove a sponge and clean it in dirty tank water. Just take the old cartridge out and slip the new one in. The bio filter takes care of the water chemistry. Keeps my tank really clean.
