Got a denso starter from junkyard and replaced the brushes. Sounds much better than remanufacture ones that I bought few from auto parts stores. If you have time and skills do not buy reman ones just rebuild your OEM starter which will outlast any aftermarket ones.

It works perfect on my original Denso starter. It makes a difference sound than the original when starting the car but I don't care. Don't buy a new starter, buy these brushes and bring your car back to life.

Easy fix for most denso starter motors, keep then a good clean out removing all the leftover carbon and regrease the planetary gearset and your good to go.You just saved yourself $$$.

The carbon brushes worked great on Denso starter for a 2004 corolla. The starter was haveing intermittent failures not engaging when hot. Cleaned the inside of the starter with brake clean and installed these new brushes. Works like new. Thanks for this product it saved me from buying a $600 starter. Watch youtube videos on how to replace carbon brushes. Dont buy a new starter!
