RECOMMENDATION: Up to 40 lbs use 12 strands, up to 50 lbs use 14 strands, up to 66 lbs use 16 strands.

Is a great upgrade to my bow—sturdy and easy to install with smooth performance. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the string took a little longer to stretch in, but otherwise, it's a solid choice for a replacement.

I bought the 48 inch bowstring for my 52 inch recurve bow and it fit perfectly. Good quality. It would be better if the notch position was marked on the bowstring.

Durable and useful bow string. I had to twist counter-clockwise to get this to the correct size. Afterwards this bow string works beautifully.

The first one I ordered was too long. The second one worked great. I can’t speak on its longevity though. I unstrung my bow in my house and leaned it against the wall. Our romba got a hold of the string and recked it. The third one I ordered works well and has been hidden from the vaccum.
