Your cart is empty.The Carlisle body is durably made from galvanized steel for longevity then fully powder coated in a black finish with contrasting nickel flag. The textured molded resin frame has an integral handle etched with US MAIL in a modernistic font. The floor is predrilled with mounting holes in a pattern of 10 in. x 4 in. and also 5 in. x 5 in. giving you options if you are replacing an existing mailbox. If you prefer to mount using the body of the mailbox there are 4 embossed holes on both sides that are 3.8 in. apart. Installation hardware is not included with mailbox. Mounting bracket may be required to mount to post (not included). The Carlisle Post Mount Mailbox is USPS Approved by the Postmaster General.

Diagram should indicate a 1/8†protrusion on the back plate. My old mailbox horizontal mounting board only had room for the width of a flat back plate with no protrusion, so had to saw off a chunk to allow the new box to rest on the mounting board and abut the post. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

We recently replaced our nearly 30-year-old mailbox with this model, and we're very pleased with our purchase. The mailbox arrived promptly and in perfect condition, thanks to the efficient shipping.Our neighborhood has strict HOA guidelines, including specific requirements for mailbox features.While this mailbox initially came with a gray flag and we needed a red one, it was an easy fix. I simply adjusted the flag to the upright position, removed the flag and mounting bracket, masked off the bracket, and spray painted the flag red.Now, our new mailbox not only meets but exceeds our HOA's requirements, and it looks fantastic.The mailbox itself is sturdy and well-made, matching the dimensions of our old one perfectly.Overall, we're very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and customizable mailbox.

Quality! This is a very high quality mail box. Looks great and built well. Perfect finish to our post. Only thing I don't like is that it says US Mail and I'm in Canada.

The mailbox is a bit bigger than I expected but its well made, has a good easy to use handle and will handle all the bad weather I get
