This LARGE sized mailbox was an easy way to change the entire look of a small area. The mailbox is sturdy, fits larger packages than my previous standard box, but also is not huge and bulky looking like the EXTRA large sized mailboxes. I paired this with the Architectural Mailboxes #7516B-10 Pacifica in-ground steal mailbox post, black (on Amazon). The post’s bracket was a perfect fit and it was so easy to attach by just opening the mailbox door and putting screws through the bottom of the mailbox As with most mass produced items, one of the holes connecting the bracket to the POST did not line up. I drilled the hole a bit larger so the last screw could be placed. This was NOT an easy feat because both the mailbox, pole and bracket are made of TOUGH TOUGH STEEL!! I used a brand new drill bit and much patience! This mailbox is secured soundly. It’s not going to budge. For my custom look (our home is grey and white) I spray painted the pole white. The pole is not cemented in and sits level and sturdy. Finally the project was finished off with artificial fake monkey grass flowers. ( Alyptus store on Amazon) and Biling solar outdoor lights (Biling store on Amazon). Mailbox setups can be quite expensive if you want to add a little extra flair to your landscape plan. These were well priced items.

Really nice, although I had to go to Home Depot for a mounting plate to attach it. Unfortunately, during a snow storm the town plow knocked it sheer off the base, so it got pretty banged up. My town highway dept. replaced it with a cheapo one. Oh well, at least they replaced it. Might have to get another one, as its size, look and ease of opening/closing with the magnetic clasp were all quite nice. Even my neighbors commented on it. Of course, the old one was literally hanging off its rotten base and was over 40 years old, so a cardboard box would have been an improvement. But it was nice to look at for all of three months.

Gorgeous mailbox. Very well made. It looks really nice. Great color too. I purchased the bronze and it’s very pretty. It’s a little larger than I expected however it fit perfectly. The only issue is they didn’t include and screws. The holes are quite big so I had to use outdoor two sided tape to hold it in place until I could run to the store for large screws. Pain in the butt. It wasn’t very convenient to do. It’s done! She’s the prettiest on my block now! Lol.

Roomy and easy to open and close. I like the smooth front hand grab...no sharp edges to scrape or scratch my car when I reach to open the mailbox from the driver side of my car. Bronze color matches my mailbox architectural post for a well designed look!

I was a bit hesitant about dropping a chunk of change on something that's going to sit out at my curb, but I'm glad we did. This thing is very classy looking and solid. It really went nice with our upgraded mailbox stand and I can tell it's going to last for years to come. I doubt I'll ever have to buy another mailbox.

I could’ve bought one at the local hardware store for $39 but I thought this would be a lot heavier by the description? It turned out to be just a piece of light tin that looks OK. The handle for the lid is made out of plastic very cheap. They are probably bought from China and imported in? I would not make this purchase again.
