This mailbox is just the right size for my family. We get some flyers, very little real mail, but nothing hangs out of the box. The box is made of steel, has a grainy texture, is painted black, with a nice shine.

The mailbox is a great quality box that appears sturdy and durable. The lid moves freely and doesn't stick open or ajar. The box is a decent size that could easily hold papers, Amazon envelopes, etc. Replaced an old one that had all those issues so very happy with this one.
