I bought this black Arena suit for my 5 year old as competition suit for swim team Like other Arena swim suits we've purchased this suit fits as expected. We got the size 22 which is slightly big on our 40 pound 46 inch tall slim athletic girl. That said this suit works well for daily practice, holding up nicely to constant chlorine. The style is great, covers what it needs giving the appearance of one piece in front and bikini in back. My daughter likes the thin straps and style. Only regret is the suit doesn't come in size 20.

So, I'm not sure why everyone has been giving this product one star. The suit fits great, was shipped quickly, and is exactly as described. Most complaints seem to stem from the fact that parents are upset about the cut, but the ad makes no false claims about that. The cut is what my daughter needs, as she is a competitive diver, and if we choose something more conservative, it restricts movement. For reference, my daughter will be 9 in a month or so and is 66 pounds. She is a gymnast and diver, so she has a pretty muscular build, especially in the legs. A 24 fits her perfectly.

This suit is revealing in the back so be prepared for that but it fits great and my daughter loves it. We got it for her to wear during swim practice and meets and it fits our needs perfectly.

Middle strap across is very tight for my 5 yo. Shoulder straps are loose. And butt is very small and loose

My daughter loves this training suit. It has to be hand-washed so keep that in mind. Also, the back is really, really open. My daughter doesn't mind and it seems to fit her well, so we are keeping it.

Fit perfectly, tight to the body so there's no drag. My girl is 10 and on swim team, practice 5 days a week, need something that will last.

Should have read the reviews! The back is extremely low and the cutouts show the sides of her hips. Way too revealing for an 11 year old.

The item itself is great! But I doubt that it is the original item of the brand. The size is way too small. Our previous item was exactly the size declared here and it fits perfectly. We bought it in ARENA store. This time the word "ARENA" is not at the same place and the size is too small.
