I purchased a mini Cooper and in order to change the spark plugs I was required to buy a thin walled plug remover socket.I purchased this one based on reviews of others as well as, I liked the design and the swivel. I knew I would have to have some tilt to get The back plugs out. And boy was I right!I was immediately impressed when I open the box and saw the quality of this tool.The mini coopers spark plugs are extremely deep down in the motor. Having the magnet built-in to the plug remover is an ingenious idea and every plug remover should have one of these!The ease at which I was able to remove the original spark plugs after 130,000 miles was unforeseeable. I credit this to the tool I was using to remove these old spark plugs. This made swapping out the spark plugs a pretty simple job. The magnetic draw helps with getting them out of the spark plug tubes without having to try and fish them out yourself. Definitely a better option than the ones BMW and other companies sell at significantly higher prices.

This is the correct spark plug socket for a late model Mini or BMW. This makes it easy to remove the spark plug with a strong magnet to hold the plug without dropping it on the way in or out. The swivel makes installation easy without the worry or breaking the porcelain on the expensive new plugs due to side loading when torquing the plug to spec. Th product has a satin finish with knurled barrel to prevent slip while handling with a greasy hand.

Ford tech here. I was given the unfortunate task of changing plugs on a Nissan Titan.Pros:This socket beats using a normal 14mm and magnet any day. The magnet it is pretty strong and I didn’t have to worry about the plug falling out.Cons:The detents for the 3/8 drive hole aren’t very deep and if put into a tight spot it’s very easy for the socket to fall off.The swivel portion is awesome in terms of range and mobility however it’s not as tight as other swivel sockets. If you’re not extremely gentle the socket will swing down under it’s own weight.You can’t beat this product for the price and it got the job done

Purchased this for removing spark plugs on a Subaru Cross Trek. The spark plugs are small, and not at all convenient to get to. A vital tool to have on-hand to reach them, but you will also need a 3" wobble extension, which I didn't have. I made it work but not without a lot of mixing and matching of tools. The magnetic feature is very helpful.

After some research, I purchased a set of NGK 93560 spark plugs for my 2018 Audi SQ5. When these arrived I found my existing 14mm thin wall socket could not accommodate the length of the ceramic insulator on these spark plugs. Finally located this socket which works perfectly. Recommended.
