If you have a high instep like me and have had trouble finding step-in Ariats that fit, these are the boots for you! I have wide feet, a high instep, and a bone-spur on top of my left foot from a previous injury, so anything tight across the instep is PAINFUL. I often can’t even get Ariat cowboy boots on. I normally wear an 8.5 in my Ariat lace-ups to add a little width. My true size is 7.5W, but I always order boots 1/2 size bigger anyway, to allow for thicker socks, so I ordered these in an 8C and they’re PERFECTION. My calves are also “substantialâ€, so the wider tops are nice and don’t rub. This is the fourth pair of boots I have purchased on-line, as we have limited shopping in our area. I had to return the other three, but these are definitely keepers! We have horses and I need waterproof boots that are substantial enough for outdoor chores, as well as being supportive and non-slippery. Due to Ariat’s great insert and sole technology, these will be great. I’m sure hay will fall inside, but I’ll wear boot-cut jeans/pants over them to prevent that. I can’t say enough good things about these boots!

These boots were absolutely beautiful and so comfortable.. I wanted to style with dresses but they didn't look right because they were too short. Unfortunately I chose to return them because I would never wear them. I totally recommend.

I ordered this boot in a 9.5 wide because I have arthritis in my feet. From the moment I put these boots on, the fit was perfect. Feels like they’re going to last a long, long time. Very study, leather is firm but flexible and I’m sure they will wear into my feet beautifully!

These boots are perfect! I like the style & comfort, but the top opening of the boots are wide & noticeable from the outside of my jeans. On the leather, it looks like strokes from a paint brush. But besides that, it’s actually amazing! It works good for some simple yard work, but I recommend an extra layer of waterproof spray to make it resistant from water because it looks like the leather still soaks in the water. Hope this catches your eye and gives you more information before buying these boots!

I like a wide shoe to give me more room. These are quite comfy and roomy. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 but I sized up to an eight so that I would have room to wear thick socks. I noticed without the thick socks they are a little bit big, but it doesn’t really affect how it feels on my feet. I am satisfied with my purchase.

The boot quality is good. We really like that even tho it is a work boot it is still very appealing to look at. Very good value for the money. Heels are not to high just perfect for working with horses or other livestock setting which is why we chose these particular boots

I love the fit and comfort of these boots. I wear them regularly and they are holding up quite well to the variety of Canadian weather. My only complaint is that they can be quite warm in the summer. Although, not surprised considering the quality and type of materials. Not really a problem, just something I thought worth mentioning.

I have narrow feet and these fit well. The full piece of leather on the toe us a better design so they last longer than other models. Also very lightweight.

These boots are by far the most comfortable pair I've owned! No need for "breaking in"...These are comfortable from the the first time you put them on...if you have wide feet, I recommend going with a wide...plenty of room, and if needed, work socks are an excellent pairing.....

I gave them a 4 star only because i couldnt get the right size. Love the boots and they are really comfortable but it's hard to get the right size sometimes. I would normally wear a 9 wide but couldn't get that so I tried the 9.5 wide and they are sloppy but eventually they should stretch enough that I can add an insole. I have worn them for barn work, yard work, shopping etc and my feet have been comfortable and dry. I would definitely buy them again.
