This is the same battery that was in my Gravely mower when new. It is a dry cell so can be shipped. A little more expensive than a larger lead - acid that I could buy locally, but not worth the added time and effort to engineer a new hold down. I know this is commonly done by repair shops because they can make a nice profit on the lead - acid battery. The only downside is the life of this battery is 3 years. But for 3 years the mower starts immediately.

I suggest watching a YouTube video on installing as it is in a tight snug space- but good value for the money. Cheaper than local dealer even with no core charge return.

A bit pricey but overall pleased beyond words. Started up just right and a delivered pretty quick to say it's a back stocked item. Definitely hve to replace these batteries every 3 yrs.
