This buffer broke after the 4th use and the manufacturer would not honor the warranty. It is only 5 months old and we only began using it once the weather got warmer. We used it 4 evenings in a row for 1-2 hours each time. Something broke inside so it rattles, shakes and doesn't orbit correctly. It has a 1 year warranty but the manufacturer told me that they don't have any in stock and so Amazon would have to take care of the warranty! Ridiculous! Of course Amazon referred me back to the manufacturer. Do not waste your money!

I agree with the wimpy motor comments. Looking for another orbital 10 inch orbital with more than 1 amp. OK for applying goopy wax but cannot put any pressure to gain polishing action. Can't find any-- have no clue about the battery ones. Seems somebody could make at least a 3 amperAlso the variable speed is good for starting slowly so goop doesn't fly everywhere But the position of the control button means my hand keeps moving the speed to low and ya need all the power you can get.

I had higher hopes for the Armor All brand name buffer to be a little better, nope. It didn't last very long. Just under a year with very little use. Not too upset though because like all the others like this it was very underpowered. It had a high speed switch on it that I kept bumping and wondering why it wouldn't polish at all. Good riddance to it!

Great buffer I bought for my used car to buff out really old swirl marks, did a great job taking out the majority of them for a 10 year old car! Wish the RPM could go a bit higher so it could finish the job but great enough for the price! Pair this with Meguiars compound!

I just used the car buffer today for the first time & it broke! I didn't apply pressure & wasn't running it on high speed . The buffer went flying off while I was using it!!
