My old plastic potting bench I had for over 20 years collapsed so I went looking for a replacement. Amazon had a lot to choose from. I finally chose this one as it had a lot of what I was looking for. The description sounded like it would be easy to assemble. I was very pleased when I unpacked it and saw the instructions were very detailed. We had a younger person put it together and he had no trouble and all the parts were there. When it was complete I really liked the looks. One thing I wonder about is what will happen to the legs when they stand in water from the hose or rain. Since my old one was hard plastic I did not think about that.

Not too hard to put together. Looks nice and seems sturdy. Ok quality.Thought I was getting something made in Canada, but it was actually CHINA. Wouldn’t recommend for that reason.

I am very happy with this potting bench! Pretty easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Love the metal top. I did add a waterproof finish which darkened the would somewhat but I like how it turned out. Finishing the wood was the longest part of the process. I would have liked another shelf inside the door.

The quality is amazing, especially for the price. It took me around an hour to put together and I had no issues with the instructions. Really impressed!

It was difficult to assemble because all the stickers fell off the wooden pieces (and left a circular stain on the wood), so that was fun to figure out what was what. Some parts did not have pre-drilled holes, but it did not say a drill was required for assembly. Some pieces of the wood were splitting or chipped, so I can't trust how it will fare outside. Mine is still inside.The drawer did not fit it was too wide for the space provided, please trust this was not an assembly error, I've been building furniture for 20 years. Once I figured out all the pieces, it came together smoothly until the drawer. I'll have to hire someone to make a smaller drawer that can actually fit because it looks dumb without it and I'd also like to be able to use it. Lastly the metal top had some stains, you could see fingerprints in them. I can't get that off and I hate it so much.If I could go back in time, I'd never get this item. Once it was all built and I assessed all the faults, I did not want to take it all apart and send it back. I'm moving in 6 days and I feel like it will fall apart in the move it doesn't seem sturdy. I regret this purchase, but I'm using it anyway. Don't waste your money, find a better quality, or find the same quality for wayyyyy cheaper. This item is definitely overpriced.

I like the drawer and cabinet on this potting stand. Was missing the side hook that is pictured.
