They feature a compact 12-point style and wide area flanged head that eliminates the need for valve train removal to facilitate cylinder head retorquing. The bolts are 180,000 psi, which is 15% stronger than Grade 8 hardware, and they come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers. This kit is designed for select Chevrolet small block applications (18 degree standard port with outer row only stainless steel).

I have been using ARP head bolts and studs for decades although I just recently found this set that has the external head bolts made of Stainless Steel. They're just as strong as the rest of the bolts, with the benefit of not rusting and looking great! My new, go to head bolts!
