ARP products are always nicely made. I had an issue with fuel starvation with my street stock race car - a rule requirement is that we have to run a mechanical pump. I typically wind the motor to about 6500 rpm and my fuel pump is the factory stock style. This push rod solved the fuel starvation problem for me. Some notes: - this unit is made in the USA - it has a black oxide finish with what appears to be hardened inserts on each end - this push rod weights half of that of the stock unit! My stock push rod weighed 144.1 grams, this unit weighs 73.9 grams - fit and finish is nice, with ground surfaces on the cylinder as well as the ends.
