I am building the second engine in my life last one was 30years ago with my dad. I bought some ARPs to bolt on the main crank caps after breaking an OEM bolt... (ahem bad torque wrench not Ford's fault), but I went with ARP bcs I couldn't get the ford bolts and my goodness what a difference, they went on smooth and torqued smoothly, just a way different feel, felt like tightening butter. So I bought motor mount bolts to replace the 40yr old ones, same thing smooth as silk putting on, I over torqued them and it went smooth. I wish they were cheaper but they are the best.

ARP bolts are always the way to go, and they clearly know it which is why I would say it’s priced a little high, but I guess when you have the best you can charge what you want!
