Saw the disclaimer after I ordered it and decided to try it anyway instead of returning. Easy setup and my 400mbps plan is running at 470. Ran a 200' cat 6 to front house router and that works fine. My TV is running off the 8300 WiFi without any lag.

Update: after using it for 4 days, it stopped working completely.I just bought this renewed router having that description of supporting upto 1000mbps and my actual speed turns out to be 30mbps. Pathetic performance. On top of which, wait time of 4-5 days because it is from a 3rd party seller and then go spend time on returning this and find another new one.

This modem/router was easy to install!! All I needed to do was hook it up to the existing provider cable and contact my Internet provider and it was in! Great service from both networks, 2.5 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz. Beats sending my Intrnet provider an additional $14.00 per month ($188.44 per year!).

I bought this to avoid renting from the cable company and it works great. Its easy to install and I don't recall any troubles with it.

I'm not sure if comcast just likes ripping people off or this product just didn't work. Either way it didn't work for me.

DO NOT BUY ARRIS EQUIPMENT.I have spent over $1000 dollars getting my home mesh network setup with Arris. It has never worked well. The app is absolute garbage.The final straw before switching to Netgear. My Modem that is less than 2 years old gave out again... and the new one wouldn't connect to any of my 3 routers.I spent 12 HOURS on the phone with multiple people that all pretty much gave up. I was down for 5 days, I run a company from home and it cost me thousands of dollars.They called a week later after I already replaced everything and asked if I got it solved yet and REFUSED to issue a refund. Even though most of this stuff is less than 2 years old.DON'T GET YOURSELF INTO THIS NIGHTMARE.
