Agile and responsive like the 4S and 6S MOJAVE vehicles, the small scale MOJAVE GROM delivers all the performance and durability that ARRMA fans have come to expect. However, you can take this one with you almost anywhere, for amped-up ARRMA bashing fun anytime you like.
Indoors and outdoors, the MOJAVE GROM goes places that are off-limits to larger RC desert trucks. And it’s still engineered to the same high standards as other ARRMA vehicles. No compromises were made when reducing the size. With its smooth handling and tackle-anything toughness, you can be as aggressive as you like when you send the MOJAVE GROM through the corners and over the jumps.
Built for endurance, the MOJAVE GROM survives any punishment you and the environment can dish out. Its strong composite chassis is ventilated to help on-board components keep their cool, aided by a high-speed fan integrated into the electronics. Robust metal gears support the rugged 4WD drivetrain. Oil-filled shocks soak up bumps. A MEGA 380 brushed motor sends power through an enclosed drivetrain to four dBoots Fortress tires that turn it into high speeds.
Even the Spektrum SX110 steering servo has metal gears — and it’s waterproof, like the Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 25A ESC and receiver, for trouble-free operation in any conditions. If you’re a first-time RC basher, the Spektrum 2.4GHz SLT2 transmitter helps you learn control skills safely by limiting maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you’re ready for it all. Recharging the Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery is also a snap. Just plug it into the Spektrum S10 Smart G2 Mini 2S USB-C Charger with the attached IC2 connector. In about an hour, your battery is safely recharged and ready for more fun.
The sleek MOJAVE desert truck body comes finished in eye-catching red/black or blue/white color schemes. It mounts to the chassis with a secure but clipless quick-release mechanism that even young kids can manage easily. The wheels are color-coordinated with the body, and high-quality hex hardware is used throughout the vehicle for reliability and simplicity.
You’ll find everything you need to the run the MOJAVE GROM inside the box. ARRMA upgrade parts are also available for expanding its capabilities, including a Metal Axle & Wheel Hub Set (ARA311231), Aluminum Shock Set (ARA-1567), Adjustable Steering Links (ARA340217), and a two-piece, assembled Oil-Filled Differential Set (ARA311193).

Out of the box, the desert truck body comes factory-finished in two exciting color scheme options. It captures the unmistakable looks and form of the original MOJAVE in small scale size. The dBoots Fortress tires add all-terrain traction and are mounted on tough color-coordinated wheels.
CLIP-FREE BODY ATTACHMENT
The MOJAVE GROM desert truck body snaps onto the chassis easily, quickly, and securely. It comes off with a simple press-and-release. With no tiny clips to force into place, it’s a body attachment system that’s perfect even for young bashers.
RUGGED 4WD DRIVETRAIN
The enclosed drivetrain with rugged metal gears carries power from the installed MEGA 380 brushed motor to all four wheels for high traction. The entire power system is well-protected for dependable performance on all terrain.
UPDATED V2 DIFFERENTIALS

Nice little car. Bought this for my 9 year old to start out with. It’s still fast being brushed and nice that it has the gyro to keep it from losing control to easily. Should make for a great starter car and is a reasonable price. Car comes ready to run with a controller, battery and charger.

I don’t usually write reviews but this is my 4th mini scale RC car/ rock crawler and I feel the need to write this. Wow! Is this thing pretty cool, now only is the quality great and durable but it allows you to control speeds. My 6 yr old son loves it because it’s not wicked fast like his Traxxas slash truck. Easy to control and set up ready to run out of the box. By far my top RC purchase in last 12 months, and this is my 7th RC purchase this year.

Like the title says, these Arrma Grom’s are the best bang-for-buck vehicles in the RC hobby. I have owned all the big bashers (Xmaxx, DBXLE, SBR, Kraton 8s, Mojave, etc) and I can proudly say these little Grom’s handle like the bigger RC’s with respect to their size. The speed on these is perfect for backyard bashing, racing, and having fun.As you can tell, the Mojave is my favorite. This is not only because of how scale it looks when driving, but also because of how nicely the body is designed. Overall, these RC’s get a 10/10 in my book.

The product was easy to get running but the plastic connection from the servo to the steering assembly broke after about 10 minutes of use. I expected more from an rc car that is consistently reviewed as nearly indestructible.

This little truck is an absolute blast! I already own the larger Mojaves, so I couldn’t resist picking up the smaller version. Took it to the skate park on its first run alongside the Mojave 4S, and they actually handle pretty similarly in that environment. I threw a brushless conversion on it, which was a blast, but at full speed, it was a bit too much for the tight quarters of the park—fun but kind of hard to control.The controller is a great design, small enough for kids to handle easily, yet still feels comfortable in adult hands. The three power modes are a fantastic touch—perfect for younger drivers or when you want to reign in the truck a bit. With the brushless upgrade, you can hit 50mph in 100% mode, but if you need to tame it down, the 50% setting brings it back to a more sensible speed for safer fun.It doesn’t need a brushless conversion to be fun it’s great as is and if you decide you want more power or any other upgrades they’re readily available here on Amazon. It went out of control at 50+ mph and nothing has broken it’s hardly even scratched somehow. All in all an awesome purchase!

Worth every penny, however the charger broke, as many others have complained, almost instantly. Since I was doing a brushless upgrade it wasn't a big deal for me. Way faster and better built then my Latrax and that's without ever being able to actually charge the factory battery. If you plan on keeping the car brushed, nothing wrong with it plenty fast from the factory, buy a decent charger or change the factory leads and enjoy. DO NOT expect the factory charger will work. It's crap and they'd be better off not including it. It was only a capacitor that went bad, a simple fix. However there are approximately 0 schematics that tell the specification of that capacitor and I tried 4 different ones none of which worked. I ended up deciding since it charges lipos it wasn't worth the risk to fix. Put too large of a capacitor in next thing you know it's charging to 4.8 volts. Just expect you need a charger from the beginning and problem solved.Update: I just bought a Typhon and the exact same thing happened. So it's definitely the charger. Skip this unless you want it as a chassis. In other words you plan to go brushless from the start or buy a new charger.

The car is very fun to play with.
