This case is made of pressed wood, but a good quality of pressed wood. Looks good once assembled, but took some time to do. Helps to have two people, I attached the parts list as almost everything aspect of this cabinet needs to be put together. Some of the screws tore through the pressed wood, but thank goodness only a few. They provide a few extra screws and such, just in case, which is a nice gesture. The white coating/covering looks and feels nice but does chip easily. Nice product for the money and Amazon allows for pay over time with no interest. One downside I've noticed after using more, the machine tray wobbles a little. The lift casing has a little play on the sides and my sewing machine weighs about 50 pounds. I wish it felt more stable.

Not too difficult to put together. Two people is better than one. We read carefully and referred to diagrams provided in instructions. Only question we have is how the hydraulic table works. No instructions for how to do that but we’ll figure it out.

I love that I have more space to lay things out. The fold-outs on either side are a big win. Having more than one drawer has been exciting, and the door even has a small storage compartment. The only negative is that I didn't realize I did need the insert to make a flat surface to sew on. I have it on order.

We recently moved to smaller house and I now share my sewing area in the master bedroom. This cabinet is the perfect solution to moving to the smaller space.

The fit of the pieces were off. Some of the screw holes were off that resulted in us having to redrill and tap them. The drawer assemblies had to be reworked just so they can fit together. Even the casters did not go on right. Wow what a waste.

Very easy to assemble, all items are clearly labeled, only took a couple of hours. This is a very sturdy product and is exactly as described.
