it is what it says it is, it works well, cleaned multiple old video game consoles with it that were covered in dust. they all worked like a charm afterward.

Worked in my DVD player and greatly improved movies playing with much less skipping/pausing. Did not work in my external CD drive. The music tracks that plays during the cleaning got annoying at parts, but was easily remedied with turning the volume down.

The CD player in my car did not work. Would just get "ERR" message and would eject cd.Had to run cleaner disc 3 times but now the CD player works!

This cleaner's description says it isn't compatible with certain players (Xbox, PS, a Bose, etc.), but that it is compatible with CD/VCD/DVD. And, it worked great on my Sony Blu-ray DVD player, but not my older Phillips or newer Jensen CD players. It will not load, play the songs or clean. I was not happy with the length of time it took to clean my Blu-Ray (approx. 30 minutes play time), since my older Phillips CD/DVD laser lens cleaner cleans in seconds and has done well for years - one of the brushes is almost gone now - thus my new order. My Phillips laser lens cleaner worked on my Blue-ray and Phillips CD player, but then it's a Phillip's. It did not work on my Jensen CD Player. I emailed the customer service for Arsvita and was happy with the quick reply - like in a day or two. However, "Anna" said their description said it is not compatible with all CD players - the description does not say this. They did offer to give me a refund and said to keep the product, so that's good. I'll just try another product. Maybe one that is made specifically for CD players and use Arsvita's for my DVD player. I would have given it 2.5 stars if that were possible, since it did half of what was described, but I gave it 3 stars for being a good DVD cleaner. I have read some reviews that say it cleaned their CD player fine, but others where if it didn't they thought it was due to their CD player being faulty. Both my CD players work fine.

I put an old dirty cd into my Bose and did not realize I had hosed it up. I removed the cd and cleaned it but that did not help the problem. The cd was still skipping. After I ordered and received the cd cleaner, I put it into my player once and the problem was solved! I am so relieved that the damage to my Bose was fixed and I don’t have to replace it. Thank you for a quality product!

It could be a placebo or pure chance, only time will truly tell - but my PS3 Slim, well taken care of through the years, started to freeze for no reason with pretty much any game after some time. I tried everything from air duster to repasting even though the temps on it all ran normal or even lower than usual, and still would get the freezing. After doing research I was convinced it was either the HDD or Disc Drive failing. Changed the HDD for an SSD and it was still doing it. Finally decided to try to clean the laser and... to my surprise, it seems to have fixed the issue. I have teseted it multiple times on one game in particular which would freeze at the same point, and no more freezing after using this cleaner. But again, it could be a fluke or placebo... but so far after my testing, it seems to have cleaned the laser and made my console work fine again.I just ran the disc in the audio player on the PS3, let it play each of the 6 tracks for about 20 seconds. I do not think it needs much more use than that, and it is noisy and sounds like it could perhaps even do more harm than good if left running. But for a quick clean, I think this thing is fine. Should get a few uses out of it before needing a new one - the bristles on mine are already bent indicating I can clean maybe 4 or 5 more CD based systems with it before it becomes a *just* a CD of some of the worst music I've ever heard

My blu-ray DVD player, wouldn't play Blu-Ray DVD's, aand regular ones were skipping. Though I had to replace it, but this cleaner device, worked perfectly, & in 1/2 hour, everything working perfectly. Plus it is not a one use product, but good for 30 cleanings.

Decidà darle una oportunidad al producto ignorando las malas reseñas y termine arrepintiendo me en grande. No solo no sirvió para su función, además, daño el láser del reproductor de CD y ahora no lee ningún CD, la peor compra ya que no puedo reclamar lo que me costará reparar mi reproductor o comprar uno nuevo.

I had not used my nice cd.Stereo system in almost three years.Bought some new CDs and they would not play or load.After one use of this they play perfectly.
