this arrived in a timely manner and was used to clean a just purchased refurbished VHS player in order to view quality of older VHS tapes. only tried once so far- worked well, not sure how it will hold up with frequency of use

I ran into a vhs tape i hadn't played for years and wanted to play it for my toddler granddaughter but a notice kept popping up to clean the heads. I ordered the cleaner right then, it came the next day and worked perfect. Now i can share the videos that my daughter watched with her little girl.

Used it on one working VHS that was a little grainy, and it broke the player (lost video but sound still works). Bought a second VHS player that worked OK, tried to use this, and it broke the second one too (initially lost video but sound still worked, now neither work). After two broken VHS players. I wouldn't recommend this product.

My VHS did not like this cleaning tape very much and I had to keep putting it back in cause it would auto eject. It also sounded bad when it did run. I guess it cleaned things but I noticed no difference when I put the regular tape back in.
