Great stretcher bars, at a reasonable price,This is probably the third or fourth 'double' pair/set we have bought of this brand/manufacturer, very pleased with quality with all of them.No warped bars, very straight, hardly any knots, and very snug fit! Easy enough to get to 90' corners, a couple of staples in the joints or even a bit of glue and one is set!If stretching the canvas right/enough I don't se how one can can find the 'beveled edge' to be an issue, they are there just to make sure the bars doesn't leave an imprint or show through the canvas.. I'll definitely buy these again!My only wish would be that they would offer them in even more sizes and/or in 1/2 inch increments or even some metric (centimeter) dimensions.. :)

I have never framed a canvas before and these frame pieces made it so simple. I make diamond painting and wanted to frame one as a gift. Of course it was an odd size 56x76cm so finding a frame was impossible. These were super easy to use and definitely will order more for my next frame.

This was my first time stretching a canvas, but it ended well. I was a little surprised that the bars had beveled edges on both sides, so there was no difference between front and back. I was expecting a flat back, but I'm not sure it really matters. They fit together very snugly, and were easy to square up. I used a door frame to help get them square. The outside edges were very sharp and that made it difficult to stretch the canvas over them (because it caught on the sharp edges), so I sanded them down slightly and then I was able to get a nice tight stretch. It did take me 2 tries to get it tight enough. After 3 coats of gesso on the canvas and now being almost finished with the painting, it still looks good. I used these bars because I wanted a non-standard size (16x24 inches), not available in pre-stretched canvases. And now, for the same reason, I will proceed to my first try at building my own frame.

Worked beautifully! This was my first time buying and putting together stretcher bars. Putting them together was was simple. They are strong and worked well under my canvas. I am absolutely delighted!

Sturdy Product.....Wish the pegs were easier to install to hold the bars together as sometimes they are too thick

What was I thinking? I was pushing to buy something I'd missed for a class and wanted it fast. Why didn't I take a drive to a local art store? Talk about buyer's remorse! This was buyer's stupidity, really.These things did not fit easily at all. I know snug--I used to stretch canvases a lot and I'm just coming back to it. And there were just shards of wood. I think I have a small sliver in my thumb, actually. I'm not planning on sanding stretchers, for Pete's sake.

the product description said 2 sets should mean bars to make two frames. but it turned out to be 2 bars that is half of a frame! ha he hei, i feel fooled and foolish!
