I have some NHT classic 4s (purchased decades ago) that allow bi amping with an external crossover, so I thought I'd give this stereo crossover a try. It's actually working out pretty well, the high output attentuators work well to bring out the bass. The reason I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 is that the cross-over setting is not very granular, and it would be nice to have a link function to set the crossovers on both channels to the exact same frequency. Signal flow for me is iMac ->Roland Studio Capture (USB) -> CX310->Marantz 5 channel power amp-> NHTs. Bass in punchy enough now to not use a subwoofer (I only use these speakers for music listening).

ART makes good quality, durable products. I have used their products in rental PA's for a number of years with no issues. Do they sound as good as a product you will spend 3 times the money for? No. But it is what it is.
