These things are great, and the only reason that stuff gets stuck behind them is you didn’t clean the wall good enough. The wall should be clean and they stick like no tomorrow.I put mine around the stove and it’s been on there three months exceeding my expectations with the heat from the stove on them.. when I go to clean them up, it’s easy as pie other than the cloth might stick to the corner edges..

I really like the durability and design, the adhesive is fairly weak and for some reason keeps letting go from the wall in many spots which has become frustrating even though the walls were cleaned. I am going to have to use an adhesive glue to permanently stay. The design is classy and is easy to clean making a nice back splash. I used my Dremel to cut outlet holes and was very easy with the fiberglass cutting wheels.

This was a very easy install for a small backsplash area that took about 4 hours to install. I do have a couple issues though.1. I read the reviews here about the adhesion and they are correct. There is no way this product will stay on any wall with the sticky material that is on the back. To overcome this I applied some maximum strength liquid nails on the back before sticking them on the wall. It's been a few weeks and we have even used the oven and no tiles have come loose or fallen.2. I wish the company would have a one inch bar size product that could be used in places were there are one inch gaps. To overcome that we took apart some of the tiles and used the triangle pieces to make a one inch bar. It's not ideal but it gets the job done. The company should make this and sell it to be used for borders or other places where there are one inch gaps. The silver stick bar thing that they recommend will make your backsplash look like a Fisher Price toy set. Don't buy or use that. One last thing is getting around those pesky wall sockets. The recommend using a saw but how many people have that lying around? Besides it might be messy or make bad cuts. To cut out the rectangles for the wall sockets we used a chisel and a hammer. Just mark what needs to be cut with a pencil then take it outside and use a 1 inch chisel to make the cuts. It works perfectly and does not leave any marks or bends. You can also use tin snips for cutting off small edges. However you have to be really careful with the tin snips if you cut longer pieces it causes the aluminum to bend or crack. We only used the tin snips to trim small pieces or make quick sharp cuts to the edges.

We removed old mirrors in our RV [kitchen backsplash] and replaced with these. Beautiful update. The leftovers were used in RV bath where an accent wallpaper was. Such a nice change up.

Between the gaps is the backing of the sticker that all of these individual pieces are stuck to. EVERYTHING will stick to them and you can't clean it out because it's a double sided sticker. I had a few things get stuck to these and it's incredibly hard to get out. Eventually these won't be black lines, it will be brown after enough dust collects.Between each 11.75x11.75 tile, there is not sticker, so you have a blank gap or you push them together to made an uneven pattern. I'm going to finish this project and paint black lines before sticking this to the wall so there is not blank line between the tiles.Cutting the tiles are pretty easy, but if your line crosses the glass/crystal piece, your out of luck. Use a strong utility knife with the bigger blades to cut the tile. Do not use the smaller ones that can easily snap for the "next blade up". Those will snap off when cutting the thin but strong aluminum. I did cut the glass by chipping it with the razor blade. It's not very even, but not very noticeable.I won't be buying this patter or brand due to the way these are made.
